Millie Marie (George) Mosley, age 82, a lifelong Atoka, OK resident. She was born on Saturday, August 21, 1943, to Wayne George Sr., and Oweta Hazel (Bond) George at Springfield, MO. Millie passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at her home in Atoka, OK. She attended Harmony Grade School and later received her GED. She owned her own cafe, Millie cooked while her dad was the waitress at "Miss Millie's Cafe". Millie was a home health nurse, worked in retail liquor supplies, and cashier. She married Rufus Leon Mosley, he preceded her in death in 1996. Millie was a Jehovah Witness but was raised of the Pentecostal faith. She enjoyed going to the casino, traveling, cooking, playing bingo and loved spending time with her sisters and her family.
Millie is survived by her sons, Glendon Mosley of Atoka, OK, Robby Mosley of McAlester, OK; brother, Wayne George and wife Trish of Tushka, OK; grandchildren, Myranda Mosley of Atoka, OK, Summer Mosley of Atoka, OK, Millie Mosley and husband Ben of Sherman, TX, Abby LaVarnway and husband Josiah of McAlester, OK, Timber Mosley of Atoka, OK, J'sa Dean, Jason Ayers of Caney, OK, Chris Valeri Sr. of Atoka, OK, Shannon Fortenberry of Atoka, OK, Tanner Casey, Terra and Hunter Mosley, William Mosley and wife Cheyann, Sunni, Montanna and Cashton; niece, Earlydawn Ringwald; longtime companion, Keith White of the home for 40 years; step children, Roger Penick and wife Penny of Collinsville, OK, Rosemary Smith of Atoka, OK, Dazy Ringwald and Chris Zimmer of Durant, OK, Lilly Smith of Atoka, OK, Terrel Mosley; great grandchildren, Chris Jr., Alex, Beatiful, and Joel Valeri, Jayden Mosley, Remington Mosley all of Atoka, OK, Stella and Raylan Tolo of Sherman, TX, Ezabella and Melina LaVarnway, Hadley Graham, Willow and Saige Zimmer, all of Durant, OK, Adalynn Yates of Atoka, OK; best friend, Earnestine Benefield of Atoka, OK; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Millie was preceded in death by her father and stepmom, Wayne George Sr. and Ellar George; mother, Oweta Hazel Bond; husband, Rufus Leon Mosley; siblings, Alvin George, Ella Peters, Patricia Bayles; stepson, Curtis Mosley.
