Obituary Herman Munroe Cochran, age 94, an Atoka resident, was born on Saturday, September 8, 1917, to James Alonzo and Lela May (Green) Cochran, at Harmony, Ok. Munroe passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2011 at Atoka, Ok. He graduated from Harmony School and Atoka High School, then attended OSU and SOSU. Munroe worked several years in the Tax Assessors office, later operated the Bowling Alley in Atoka. He was an Atoka County Commissioner for twelve years and served on the Atoka County Excise Board for many years. Munroe was a lifelong Rancher. Munroe proudly served his country in The Oklahoma National Guard as a Medic. He married Leola Mae King on September 15, 1939, at Lane, Ok. She preceded him in death on September 8, 1996. Munroe married Iva Dandridge on March 12, 1997 at Harmony, Ok. He was a lifelong member, Sunday School Teachers and a Deacon for many years at the Harmony Baptist Church. Munroe served on the SODA Board of Directors. Munroe is survived by his wife, Iva Cochran of the home in Atoka, Ok.; children, Ronnie Cochran and wife Benna of Atoka, Ok., Morris Cochran and wife Cindy of Atoka, Ok., Jim Dandridge and wife Kay of Idabel, Ok., Frank Dandridge of Wichita, Ka., Bob Dandridge and wife Carla of Atoka, Ok., Sue Crowley and husband Joe of Atoka, Ok.; grandchildren, Craig Cochran and wife Mercedes of Atoka, Ok., Kyle Cochran and wife Marie of Saudi Arabia, Keith Cochran and wife Monta of Atoka, Ok., Callen Cochran and wife Stacy of Lodi, Ca., Mary Edwards and husband Kenny of Atoka, Ok., Michael Cochran and wife Amy of Atoka, Ok., Marci Bond and husband Clint of Atoka, Ok., Mindy McCall and husband Clay of Atoka, Ok., Todd Dandridge and wife Lisa of Broken Bow, Ok., Sonya Collins and husband Art of Melissa, Tx., Jamie Masterson of Omaha Nb., Charlotte Siemis and husband Henry Stillwater, Ok., Shawn Dandridge and husband Lisee of Kansas City, Ka., Sarah Dandridge, Paul Crowley and wife Alice of Atoka, Ok., Rob Crowley and wife Cyndia of Ada, Ok., Jeanie Williams and husband John of Ft.
