Obituary

On Saturday, June 1, 2024, Nacona Christian passed away peacefully at home. She was 37. She was born on April 9, 1987, in Midland, TX, to Cindy Christian and Ed Audas. Nacona, known to many as "Nikki" was raised near Soper, Oklahoma, where she attended the majority of her school years. She then moved back to Midland where she was a dancer and waitress. She loved to dress up and go out. She was a wonderful cook and had started her own business cleaning houses. Eventually, her failing health led her back to her family in Oklahoma where she spent the remainder of her life. She fought a hard battle and deserves to be recognized for her strength.

Nacona leaves behind two children, Brooklyn Taylor and Benjamin Grimes, her parents, sisters, Tomi Jo Holiday and Ella-Marie Ward, and brother, Jason Audas. Her aunt and uncle, Linda and Nelton Vos, and many friends scattered along the way. She was preceded in death by her grandparents "J R" and Juanita Christian and RQ and Ella Audas, and her brother, Roper Cross.

A private family ceremony will be held at a later time.
