Nancy Jo (Parrish) Cahill-Smith, age 77, a longtime Atoka, OK resident, grew up in Lubbock, TX until 1967, Sherman, TX until 1979, Colbert, OK until 1993. She was born on Wednesday, September 10, 1947, to James Robert Sr. and Lizzy Evelyn (Greening) Parrish, at Crowell, TX. Nancy passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at Coalgate, OK. She attended Lubbock High School where she graduated with the class of 1964 and then went on to attend Texas Tech.
Nancy was a housewife and homemaker. She married A.W. Winningham in July 1967 at Lubbock, TX. She later married Billie M. Smith on March 18, 1996 in Arkansas. They celebrated 28 years of marriage before her passing. Nancy was a member of Farris Baptist Church. She loved her dogs, horses and especially her grandchildren, enjoyed visiting and never met a stranger, setting on the porch drinking her Diet Coke and smoking her cigarettes.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Billie Smith of the home in Centerpoint, OK; children, Mike Winningham and wife Pam of Boerne, TX, Angela Fleming and husband Eric of Ft. Worth, TX, Crystal Eaves and husband Jim Bob of Tushka, OK, Bradley Smith and wife Brittney Smith of Richmond, RI Melony Pope and wife Tara Pope of Wanette, Ok Joy Servin and husband Sedro Servin of Weatherford, Ok Regina Lesemann of Oklahoma City, Ok Jason Boggs and wife Amanda Boggs of Leedey, Ok Billie Jean Young and husband Robert Young of Bentonville, AR and Dawn Marie Martinez of Leedey, Ok; 33 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; brother, Jim Parrish of Sunset, TX; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, James Robert Sr. and Lizzy Evelyn Parrish; brothers, Richard Parrish, Ronnie Parrish, Ernest "Red" Parrish; sister, Nelda Bateman; great grandson, Liam Bass.
