Nathan Earl Daney, age 59, a McAlester, OK resident, lived in Atoka county for many years, was born on Friday, October 25, 1963, to George and Aline (Letka) Daney, at Talihina, OK. Nathan passed away on Monday, January 23, 2023 at his home in McAlester, OK. He attended Ardmore High School and Carter Seminary. Nathan was a sawmill operator. Nathan proudly served his country in The United States Army National Guard. Nathan attended Bentley Macedonia Indian Church and was a member of Choctaw Nation. He loved to do artistry work, tinker, collect movies, tapes, and other antique items.
Nathan is survived by the mother of his children, Stella Scott of Atoka, OK; children, Cassandra Frazier of Ada, OK, Jennifer Gibson and husband Rick of Atoka, OK, Thomas Hardy of Atoka, OK, Joshua Daney of Durant, OK, Alisha Williams and husband Dee of Durant, OK; 7 grandchildren; brothers, Gary Daney and wife Lori of Washington, Edward Daney of Oklahoma; sister, Shelli Dailey of Hartshorne, OK, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear and loved friends.
