Obituary Nathaniel "Bo" Hopkins, age 64, a lifetime Atoka, OK resident was born on Monday, April 18, 1949, to Lennie and Ester (Austin) Hopkins, in Atoka, OK. Nathaniel passed away on Friday, July 5, 2013 at Atoka, OK. He graduated Atoka High School in 1968. Nathaniel worked a few years at the Savannah Army Depot and the past several years doing yard work and gardening. Nathaniel proudly served his country in the U.S. Army in Vietnam and received National Defense Service Medal; Vietnam Service Medal W/2 Campaign Stars; Vietnam Campaign Medal W/60 device; 2 Overseas Bars; M-14 Sharpshooter; and M-16 Marksman. Nathaniel was a Methodist and love to fish and hunt. Nathaniel is survived by his children, Sherry Denise Hopkins of Chickasha, OK., Carla Brooks of Atoka, OK.,Nathaniel Hopkins Jr. of Edmond, OK.,Raymond Hopkins of Houston, TX.,Rebecca Hopkins of Edmond, OK.; 11 GRANDSONS;9 GRANDDAUGHTERS; 2 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN; brother, Donald Hopkins of Rio Vista, CA.; sisters, Mary Margaret Hopkins of Atoka, OK., Leona Ikpa of Atoka, OK., Lurenda Hopkins, OK.; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many dear loving friends.
