Nellie Jo Bolin

OBITUARY

Nellie Jo (Power) Bolin, a Coalgate resident, was born on September 27, 1931, to Albert and Dorothy (Collins) Power, at Clarita, OK. Nellie passed away on May 11, 2026 at Coalgate, OK at the age of 94 years, 7 months and 14 days. She graduated from Clarita High School in 1949 before attending Southeastern State University. Nellie was an Office Manager at Johnston County Memorial Hospital in Tishomingo. She married Ray Bolin on March 8, 1952, they spent 63 wonderful years together before his passing. Nellie attended Clarita Methodist Church. She loved spending time with her family and friends, watching the OKC Thunder, and taking care of the home place with Ray.

She is survived by her sons, Gary Bolin and wife Donna of Clarita, Eddie Bolin and Brenda of Piedmont; grandchildren, Brandon Bolin and wife Amy of Atoka, Wes Bolin and wife Calie of Coalgate, Blake Bolin of Piedmont, Whitney Gordon and husband Zak of Yukon, Madison Bolin of Stillwater; great grandchildren, Larae Bolin of Atoka, Tessa Bolin of Coalgate, Boone Brecheen of Olney; sister-in-law, Sue Bolin of Atoka; church buddies, Becky Collins, Lorene Caruthers.

Nellie was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Dorothy (Collins) Power; husband, Ray Bolin.
