Neva June Roark, age 63, a lifelong Atoka, OK resident, was born on Sunday, September 6, 1959, to Jay and Susie (Bryant) Roark, at Atoka, OK. Neva passed away on Monday, September 4, 2023 at Sulphur, OK. She graduated from high school and then on to receive an Associate's Degree. Neva was a cashier for Kroger. She married Ray Rowe who preceded her in passing in 2019. Neva attended Pleasant View Baptist Church. She enjoyed painting, reading and watching old movies.
Neva is survived by her sisters, Denise Roark of Atoka, OK, Rita Roark of Atoka, OK; brothers, Justin Roark of Witchita Falls, TX, Jason Roark of Witchita Falls, TX; son, Justin Bryant of Georgia; stepmom, JoAnn Elliott of Atoka, OK; aunt, Virginia Bryant of Atoka, OK; special friends, Tresea Harris and Shannon Davis of Atoka, OK; along with other relatives and many dear friends.
Neva was preceded in death by her parents, Jay and Susie (Bryant) Roark; husband, Ray Rowe; biological father, Bennie Bryant; siblings, Michael Bryant, Clara Bryant; grandmother, Irene Mills; aunt, Betty Roark; uncle, Harry Bryant; special uncle, Frank Bryant.
