Norma Lea Combs, age 81, a lifelong Atoka, OK resident. She was born on Sunday, June 25, 1944, to IV and Martha (Allen) Fortenberry, at Whitewright, TX. Norma passed away on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at Atoka, OK. She attended School. Norma was a home health provider, waitress at Atoka Truck Stop for many years, waitress at Mattie's Bar, and cleaned houses. She was a member of Tushka Baptist Church. Norma enjoyed dancing in her younger years. She liked going to garage sales, working word search puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, crocheting, quilting, going to the casino and loved being with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was very protective of her family and thought her grandchildren and great grandchildren were perfect.
Norma is survived by her daughter, Quita Brown and husband Jack of Atoka, OK; grandsons, Tony Logue of Farris, OK, Wayne Logue and wife Sierra of Atoka, OK, Joe Logue and wife Samantha of Atoka, OK, Julez Combs and wife Tanya of Callahan, FL, Chris Brown and wife Natalea of Houston, TX; granddaughter, Alyssa Brown and Eric Guevara of Conroe, TX; 17 great grandchildren; siblings, Rose Lowe and husband Frank of Atoka, OK, Melba Parrish of Waggoner, OK, James Combs and wife Melva of Ardmore, OK, Randy Combs and wife Teresa of Tushka, OK; daughter in law, Michelle Combs of Callahan, FL; sister in law, Sarilea Combs of Atoka, OK; brothers in law, Louie Delay of Atoka, OK, Mike Eaves and wife Pam of Lane, OK; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Norma was preceded in death by her father, IV Fortenberry; mother and bonus dad, Ernest "Pappy" and Martha Combs; son, Darrell Wayne Combs; great granddaughter, Izabel Grace Logue; siblings, Shirley Miller, Vickey Brooks, Ida Delay, Larry Combs, Della Eaves; brother in law, Dale Parrish.
