Norman Lee Thomas, age 80, a Atoka, OK resident was raised in Bentley area and moved to Oregon for many years before returning to Atoka in 2009. He was born on Friday, March 1, 1940, to Ralph and Katie L. (Howard) Thomas, at Bentley, OK. Norman passed away on Monday, October 19, 2020 at Atoka, OK. He attended Tushka Public High School. Norman worked in the sawmills in the lumber industry Norman proudly served his country in The United States Army. He married Katheryn Lela (Rariden) on Friday, September 4th, 1959 at Sams Creek, Oregon. Norman was a member of Bentley Baptist Church, loved playing dominos, visiting with friends and fishing. Norman is survived by his daughters, Zann Johnson and husband Calvin of Toledo, OR, Mary Ann Cummins and husband Ralph of Fayettville, AR; son, Leon Thomas and wife Jewell of Farmington, AR; siblings, Sue Webster of Bentley, OK, Jean Mobbs of Durant, OK, Wanda "Snow" Rice and husband Harley of Oneona, AL, Shirley McGuire and husband Darrell of Springdale, AR; grandchildren, Justin Johnson, Vanessa NG, James Martin, Krisara Adkins, Cody Thomas, Joshua Box; along many dear great grandchildren. Norman was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Katie L. (Howard) Thomas; sister, Martha Peterson
