Ollie Myrtla Evans Heard Ollie was born on January 1, 1915, to George Thomas Evans and Mamie Jo (Renfro) Evans, at Fulton's Ranch north of Atoka now covered by Atoka Lake. She married J. T. Heard on October 29, 1939. They had two daughters Patsy and Judy. She moved to Stringtown when she was five years old she finished school there in 1933. Ollie worked as a store clerk later before she married J.T. together they ran the store for 35 years. She joined the First Baptist Church in Stringtown in 1928 she was the oldest member of the church her roll number was 67. She took an active part in the church as a Sunday school teacher and member until her health failed. She was a fifty plus years member of the Eastern Star. Ollie was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Mamie Evans, brother, George Evans, sisters, Mary Bills and Bettie Ritter. Ollie is Survived by her daughters, Patsy Bruce and husband Junior. of Atoka, Ok., Judy Tinker of Holdenville, Ok., granddaughters, Minisa Wheeler and husband, Larry of Francis, Ok., Ruthie Sheffield and husband Dale of Atoka, Ok,. Charla Slabotsky and husband Jay of Oklahoma City, Ok., Shawndolyn Richmond and husband Larry of Holdenville, Ok., great grandchildren, Chris and Kolton Tipton, Cody and Callie Sheffield of Atoka, Ok., Mikayla, Layton, Madyson Richmond of Holdenville, Ok., Cate Slabotsky and grandson arriving soon Adam Grant of Oklahoma City, Ok., great great grandchild, Avery Jewell Tipton, brother, Bill Evans and wife Rufie of Raytown, Mo., sister, Eddie Brown of Lewiston, Idaho, niece, Laverne Hunter of San Antonio, Tx., Nephews, Bill Evans II of Phoenix, Az., Charles Evans of K.C.
