BORN: She was born on Saturday October 2, 1926 to O.J and Gertrude (Burkhalter) Campbell at Voca Community in Atoka County, OK
PASSED AWAY: Opal passed away on Saturday August 5, 2017 in Durant, OK
EDUCATION: She attended Voca, Coleman, and Tushka schools.
OCCUPATION: Opal, along with her husband Gene owned and operated Smith Texaco in Wapanucka from 1967-1982 and worked 22 years at Southeastern Oklahoma Nutrition Program until retiring at the age of 80.
MARRIED: She married Eugene Smith on December 23, 1944 in Atoka County near the Boggy Bridge. Gene precedes her in death in 1982.
CHURCH AFFILIATION, HOBBIES AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS: Opal was a member of the Assembly of God. Being a wife of a minster, they were involved in many churches, but always called the Wapanucka Church her home. She loved playing softball and loved her grandchildren and attending their sport activities.

GRANDDAUGHTER-IN-LAW: Jamie McGaugh of Coalgate, OK
