Opal Faye (Wallis) Staggs-Moody, age 94, a Wapanucka, OK resident. She was born on Friday, November 19, 1926, to John and Bertha Seluda (Smith) Wallis, at Clarita, OK. Opal passed away on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Tishomingo, OK. She attended Clarita and Plainview schools. She graduated from Wapanucka High School. Faye was a Housewife. She married Ruban L. Staggs on Saturday, September 27th, 1947 at Gainesvillle, TX. She later married Harry Moody on October 10, 2000. Faye was a life member at Wapanucka 1st Baptist Church. She loved the outdoors, burning brush, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Faye is survived by her daughter: LaTrell Brown and husband Keith of Grand Praire, TX; son: Gregg Staggs of Norman, OK; granddaughters: Erin Minyard and husband Michael of Denison, TX; Melissa Hudson and husband Adam of Ft. Worth, TX; great granddaughter: Ophelia Opal Hudson of Ft. Worth, TX; and many numerous neices, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Faye is preceded in death by her parents: John and Bertha Seluda (Smith) Wallis; husbands: Ruban L. Staggs; Harry Moody; son: Delmer Staggs; granddaughter: Brandi Brown; two brothers, J.T. Wallis and her twin brother Billy Fed; sisters, Ethel, Loveta, Juanita and Wanda; one half brother, W.D; and one half sister, Nora.
