Patsy Jo (Lytle) Burkhalter, age 85, a longtime Lane, OK resident, was born on Saturday, March 4, 1939, to Pizzora Elsworth and Leona Hester (Evans) Lytle, at Farris, OK. Patsy passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at Atoka, OK. She attended Farris Elementary School and Atoka High School. Patsy worked for Blue Bell in Coalgate and was a Cook at Lane School for many years while her kids and some grandchildren made it through 8th grade, before retiring. She married Dee Preston "Pinkey" Burkhalter on Wednesday, August 27th, 1956 at Durant, OK. They spent 55 wonderful years together before his passing in 2011. Together they worked hard and had 3 children together. Patsy was a member of Iron Stob Pentecostal Church. She enjoyed watching all of the judges on TV, taking care of her kids and grandchildren, and was a big fan of Family Worship Channel. Patsy loved to laugh and cut up, especially if everyone was at home all grown up. She loved The Lord and was waiting to go home to Pinky and Jesus since his passing. "Momma and Daddy taught us love, they loved us unconditionally. Right or wrong, they had our backs."

She is survived by her children, Jerry Don Burkhalter, Dennis Burkhalter and wife Dottie, Pam Crow and husband Ralph, all of Lane, OK; siblings, Frankie, Tom; grandchildren, Kent Ray Burkhalter, Guy Dillon Burkhalter and wife Brandi, Jason Burkhalter, Stephanie James and husband Blake, Jesse Beltran and wife Jenna, Dusty Crow and wife Staci, Amber Culbreath and husband Joe, Ricky Burkhalter and wife Tiffany; great grandchildren, Kelcie Burkhalter, Kolby Burkhalter, Trenton Yarbrough, Traelon Yarbrough, Landon McCarty, Elizabeth McCarty, Kylie McCarty, Greenlee Burkhalter, Finlee Burkhalter, Zander Burkhalter, Farrah James, Talon James, Jordan Beltran, Cleo Beltran, Baylee Burkhalter, Braydee Jo Burkhalter, Annie Culbreath, Beau James Crow, Faith Ann Crow; great great grandson, Kellin Wilson; special grandson, Dakota Brese; best friend, Dorothy Denton; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.

Patsy was preceded in death by her husband, Pinkey Burkhalter; parents, Pizzora and Leona Hester (Evans) Lytle; in-laws, Wilburn and Thelma Burkhalter; siblings, Sam, Junior, Jerry Charlene, Florence Frances, Jean Helen Ann
