Paul Clayton Armer, a longtime Coalgate resident, was born on August 16, 1944, to Luther Evert and Charlotte (Kupiec) Armer, at Phillips, Oklahoma. He passed away on December 21, 2024, at his home in Coalgate surrounded by loved ones. Paul was 80 years, 4 months and 5 days old. He graduated from Coalgate High School. Paul was a security guard at the McAlester Ammunition Plant for more than 20 years until his retirement. He married Eva Rose Reed on July 24, 1965, at Coalgate. They were blessed with 59 years together. Paul was a member of the Coalgate First Baptist Church. He was an accomplished wood carver. Paul liked gardening, riding motorcycles, hunting and fishing. He could often be found watching westerns and FOX News.
