Paul Samson Finch Jr., age 84, a longtime Atoka, OK resident, was born on Wednesday, December 8, 1937, to Paul and Ethel Mae (Courtney) Finch, at Atoka, OK. Paul passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at Atoka, OK. He attended Bethany School in Atoka County and graduated from Atoka High School. He went on to attend Southeastern Oklahoma State University. Paul was a farmer, rancher, truck driver and worked for many years promoting Purina Milling Company's products. Paul proudly served his country in The United States National Guard. He retired as an E-5 after serving for 14 years. He married Virginia Lee (Adams) on Sunday, October 21st, 1962 at Atoka, Oklahoma. They spent 59 wonderful years together. Paul was a member of the New Zion Methodist Church. When he wasn't on the road he enjoyed working in the shop. Paul loved to spend time with his children, grand children and especially enjoyed spoiling his great grandchildren. He never met a stranger. Paul is survived by his wife, Virginia Lee Finch of the home in Atoka, OK; children, Paula Durham and husband Billy of Broken Arrow, OK, Paul S. Finch III "Bo" and wife Jerri of Atoka, OK; daughter-in-law, Jana Finch of Atoka, OK; grandchildren, Cody Finch and wife Vanessa of Atoka, OK, Jessica Finch Partin and husband Joe Don of Atoka, OK, Jenna Moody of Broken Arrow, OK, Lacey Lynn Braziell and husband Johnny of Caney, OK, Justin Moody and wife Glorianna of Broken Arrow, OK, Lydia Sowels and husband Caleb of Durant, OK, Austin Finch of Durant, OK, Christina Hunt and husband Colby of Owasso, OK, Scott Durham and wife Amanda of Broken Arrow, OK, Kayla Hagemier and husband John of Atoka, OK, Kendra Carpenter and husband Ricky of Waynoka, OK; great grandchildren, Maya Finch, Raiden Finch, Ronan Finch, Rylee Partin, Briar Rector, Brooklynn Partin, Jolee Partin, Bailey Braziell, Riggen Braziell, Corbin Braziell, Ryker Paul Moody, Reagan Pidcock, Silas Hunt, Nolan Hunt, Dayton Durham, Addalee Durham, Sebastian Sowels, Khloe June Hagemier; sister, Cynthia Anderson of Atoka, OK; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many dear friends. Paul was preceded in death by his son, Mark Finch; parents, Paul and Ethel Mae (Courtney) Finch; brother, Prentis Finch; father-in-law, Hollis Adams; mother-in-law, Jimmie Adams; granddaughter, Alecia Moody
