OBITUARY Leona Pauline Broome, age 93, a lifelong Atoka, OK resident was born on Friday, February 25, 1921, to Walter and Nora Elizabeth (Southerland) Copeland, at Atoka, OK. Pauline passed away on Friday, May 2, 2014 at Atoka, OK. She graduated Atoka High School in the class of 1938 and then attended nursing school in South Texas. Pauline worked as a telephone operator, nurse and was a homemaker. She was a faithful member of First Church of Nazarene; enjoyed fishing, spending time with her grandchildren, loved to drive her car for long drives in the country.
