Pauline Maree (Dyer) Myers-Ellison, age 94, a lifelong Pittsburg, OK area resident, was born on Saturday, June 4, 1927, to James Covington and Vernia Caroline (Parks) Dyer, at Union Chapel, OK, the second of six kids. Pauline passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at her home in Union Chapel, OK. She attended Union Chapel School. Pauline was a rancher and homemaker. She married Vernon C. Myers on April 20, 1946 at Atoka County, they celebrated 40 years of marriage before his passing on January 18, 1987. She later married Bill Ellison in May 2000 at Atoka County Court House, they celebrated 14 years of marriage before his passing on January 31, 2015. Pauline was a member of Pittsburg Baptist Church. She loved her cattle, riding her 4-wheelers, enjoyed fishing, sewing, crocheting, and gardening, flowers, her favorite was roses. She had a green thumb.
Pauline is survived by her daughter, Verna Caudill and husband Don of Wesley, OK; grandchildren, Jason Myers and wife Ladonna of Wesley, OK, Juston Myers and wife Renae of Wesley, OK, Bambie Danley of Blanco, OK, Mark Myers of Blanco, OK, Rachel Fowler and husband Bryan of Owasso, OK, T.J. Caudill of Wesley, OK; sister, Vera Woods of Eastland, TX; 9 great grandchildren, Duncan, Elliot, Cole, Jaxon, Maverick, Mason, Will, Genny, Grady; 4 great great grandchildren, Kamreigh, Kasen, Billie, Western; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, James Covington and Vernia Caroline (Parks) Dyer; husbands, Vernon C. Myers, Bill Ellison; sons and daughters in law, JC Myers and Joyce, Teddy Myers and Kathy; grandchildren, Matthew, Talena; great grandchild, Austin; siblings, Bonnie, Evelyn, Tressie, Vincent.
