Phillip Wayne Wingfield, age 51, a lifelong Caney, Atoka, OK area resident. He was born on Monday, March 13, 1973, to Jimmy and Phyllis (Childers) Wingfield, at Durant, OK. Phillip passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2024 at Durant, OK.
He graduated from Caney High School with the Class of 1991. Phillip was a business owner, owned Wingfield Farms for many years before purchasing a semi truck and going out on the road. He loved being his own boss and traveling the open road. Phillip retired from trucking in 2022. He was raised Baptist and remained in the faith. He loved being a dad and spending time with family and friends. Phillip loved cook outs and hosting events. He held the 4th of July event at his house for many years and everyone enjoyed the wonderful food he cooked and the fabulous fireworks show.
Phillip is survived by his partner, Katrina Renfro; mother, Phyllis McPherson; father, Jimmy Wingfield and wife Sandra; children, Phillip Wingfield II, Ruger Wingfield, Dallin Renfro, Emily Brumley, Audra Bittner, Raven Price, Kim Markham, Nicole Rackley; sister, Tonya Burnham and husband Tim; aunt, Sharon Dikeman and Uncle Butch; special cousin, Christopher Taylor; along with other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Phillip was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rufus and Bessie Childers, Dean and Rob Wingfield.
