Crews, Sr. and Nancy Launa (Vernon) Crews PASSED AWAY: Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at Norman Veterans Center after an 18 year battle with Alzeheimers. AGE 85 YEARS 6 MONTHS AND 22 DAYS EDUCATION: He attended school in Coal County. MARRIED: Muggs married Louise Thompson on January 3, 1953 at Ashdown, Ar OCCUPATION: He was a logger and rancher all his life. CHURCH AFFILIATION, HOBBIES, AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS: Muggs was a member of Lane Baptist Church. After serving in the military in Europe, Muggs returned to the States. He went to work as a chopper at Camp 20 near Ft. Bragg, Ca. Muggs and his brother jack worked as a crosscut team in cutting the giant redwoods, one of the largest being 15 ft. in diameter.
