Rachel Nicole Moreno

Rachel Nicole (Harris) Moreno, age 48, a longtime Atoka, OK resident was born on Monday, March 27, 1978, to Richard and Doris Jean (Harmon) Harris, at Amarillo, TX. Rachel passed away on Friday, August 7, 2026 at Atoka, OK. She graduated from Mustang High School in Mustang, OK then later attended Oklahoma State University in Oklahoma City. Rachel was a Homemaker. She married Simon Leobardo Moreno Cornejo on Friday, February 2nd, 2001 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Rachel loved to read, loved to sing anywhere and everywhere, coloring, watching the birds, animals come and go, watching the tv shows COPS and Ghost Hunters, but most of all she loved being with her kids, doing girly things with her daughter. Her kids were her life. Rachel loved to cook a lot and had a great sense of humor. She always made her family laugh and would volunteer for Pets for People in Yukon. She had a special place in her heart for dogs.

Rachel is survived by her husband, Simon Moreno Jr. of Oklahoma City, OK; daughter, Julia Moreno of Atoka, OK, sons, Simon Moreno III of Oklahoma City, OK, Alex Moreno, and Andrew Moreno both of Atoka, OK; mother, Doris Harris of Atoka, OK; brother, Dan Harris of Atoka, OK ; sister, Erica Belluci of Oklahoma City, OK; mother-in-law, Teresa Espinoza of Oklahoma City, OK, sister-in-law, Gabby Moreno of Oklahoma City, OK; brother-in-laws, Raul Gutierrez of Oklahoma City, OK, Arturo Moreno of Mexico City, Mexico; nephew, Duilio Moreno of Oklahoma City, OK ; Along with numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, fur babies, many loved and dear friends.

Rachel is preceded in death by her father, Richard Harris; father-in-law, Simon Moreno Sr.
