Obituary

Randy K. Smith, age 63, a longtime Atoka, OK . resident was born on Thursday, August 21, 1952, to Leslie and Viola Pettigrew, at Coalgate, OK. Randy passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at Sherman, TX. He attended Atoka Schools. Randy was a Correctional Counselor for the Department of Correction. Randy proudly served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War . He married Robin Harrison on February 14, 2005 in Pontotoc County. Randy was of the Baptist Faith. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trot lining, and spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.

Randy is survived by his wife, Robin Smith of the home in Atoka, OK.; daughter, Maranda Nowlin and husband Thomas and their children Gage and Kinsley of Atoka, OK.; sons, Keith Smith and wife Linda and their children Jaquelin and Dylan of Milburn, OK., Brandon Smith and his daughter Lexie of Atoka, OK., Chris Thompson and fianc é Kelley and their children Dusty and Stetson of Muskogee, OK.; brothers,  Rickey Miller of Jonesboro, AR., Don Pettigrew and wife Pat of Valentine, NE.; a long with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Viola (Deskin) Pettigrew; siblings, A.C. Pettigrew, Glen Pettigrew, Bobbie Dean "Juanita" Yandell; infant brother, David Pettigrew.
