Raymond Leroy Holcomb, age 75, a Plano, TX resident was born on Thursday, August 10, 1939, to Ruel and Neva Correne (Smith) Holcomb, at Tushka, OK. Raymond passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at Plano, TX. He attended Atoka High School and Southeastern Oklahoma State University Engineering and Oklahoma University where he received a Bachelor's Degree. Raymond was a Mechanical Engineer at Rockwell International. He proudly served his Country in the Army. He married Georgia Caryol Fuller on October 29, 1966 in Durant, OK. Raymond was of the Methodist Faith. He was a historian especially Civil War History and he enjoyed woodworking. Raymond is survived by his wife, Georgia Holcomb of the home in Plano, TX.; son, Charles R. Holcomb and wife Heather of McKinney TX.; grandchildren, Aaron Holcomb of McKinney, TX., Renee Holcomb of McKinney, TX., Eric Holcomb of McKinney, TX.; sister, Gaylene Miller and husband Phillip of Atoka, OK; stepsister, Sharon Coats and husband Darrell of Lane, OK; stepbrother, Jerry Don Williams and wife Donna of Atoka, OK.; uncle, Delroe Smith of Atoka, OK.; Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Raymond is preceded in death by his parents, Ruel and Neva Correne (Smith) Holcomb; stepmother, Helen Holcomb.
