Richard Dwayne Johnson, age 71, a lifelong  Atoka, OK resident was born on Wednesday, January 18, 1950, to Esias and Marie (Leflore) Johnson, at Lane, OK. Richard passed away on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Atoka, OK. He attended school in Lane and Atoka.  Richard was a Highliner in utility. He also worked in Chapman Construction and Goodman Construction. He married Patricia (Jacob) on October of 1984 in Atoka, OK. Richard was raised and baptized in the Baptist Church. He was proud member of Choctaw Nation. Richard enjoyed fishing, hunting and was and is a great fan of Elvis Presley. He was a hard worker and loved working as an equipment operator. Richard just loved being at work.

Richard is survived his wife, Patricia Johnson of the home in Atoka, OK; daughter, Brandy Johnson of Poteau, OK along with 3 granddaughters; step-son, Everett Randall of Atoka, OK; grandchildren, Jonathan Randall, Katie Randall, Brock Randall, Cora Randall, Violet JoAnn Randall; sisters; Cleta Billy of Atoka, OK, Anita Jones of Oklahoma City, OK, Debbie Williams of Mead, OK; adopted brother, Richard Guitereze of Atoka, OK; Along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives  and host of many dear and loved friends.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents, Esias and Marie (Leflore) Johnson; son, Thomas Randall; sister, Anna Johnson; brothers, Jerry Leflore, Alven Johnson, Edward Johnson, Kenneth Johnson, Bobby Johnson.
