Richard Lynn Magby

Richard Lynn Magby, age 75, a Bentley, OK resident, was born on Wednesday, September 27, 1950, to Mershel Correll and Kathleen Elizabeth "Betty" (Stewart) Magby, at Bentley, OK. He passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at Atoka, OK. He graduated from Olney High School and went on to attend Murray State College. Richard was a Preacher, rancher, cow buyer, and hauler. Richard proudly served his country in The Army National Guard. He married Kimberly Annette Beal on January 25, 2014 at Coalgate First Baptist Church. Richard was the pastor of Lehigh Baptist Church for 13 years, also preaching at several of the churches throughout Atoka and Coalgate, he was the Director of Missions of Atoka-Coal Baptist Association for 30 years, and a member of the Farm Bureau Board since 2018.

Richard is survived by his wife, Kimberly Annette (Beal) Magby of the home in Bentley, OK; sons, Kevin Magby and wife Cindy of Bentley, OK, Philip Magby and wife Carminia of Olney, OK; step daughters, Leanna Ybarra of Olney, OK, Kyla Willis of Bentley, OK; grandchildren, Jake Magby of Bentley, OK, Shelby Wilson and spouse Rylie of Caney, OK, Courtney Cook of Bentley, OK, Ethan Magby and wife Mariah of Norman, OK, Kade Magby and spouse Sarah of Atoka, OK, Kylie Magby of Olney, OK, Kolten Magby and fiance Avery Ben of Clayton, OK, Caitlyn Sandlin of Italy, Dennim Davidson of Atoka, OK, Chaiyzin Ybarra of Olney, OK, Giana Ybarra of Olney, OK, Maxton Ybarra of Olney, OK, Gracie Willis of Tushka, OK, Kindle Willis of Tushka, OK; great grands, Nolan Wilson, Hayden Richey, Brinley Wilson, Renlee Magby, Nova Magby, Iris Magby, Winona Burroughs; sister, Nadine Hamilton of Mulvane, KS; brother, Jeff Magby of Caney, OK; sister in law, Maxine Baird of Purcell, OK; father in law, Nickey Beal of Olney, OK; mother of his boys, Sharon Magby of Coalgate, OK; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other family, and many dearly loved friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mershel Correll and Kathleen Elizabeth "Betty" (Stewart) Magby; granddaughter, Tisha Capelle; brother, Ray Magby; sister, Wanda Nelson; brothers in law, Ronald Collins, Bob Hamilton, Floyd Nelson; mother in law, Anna Mae Beal; father and mother in law, James and Margaret Palone.
