Rickey Gene Pelts, a Coalgate resident, was born on January 8, 1958, to William Sampson and Alice LeDonia Minnie Bell (Cole) Pelts, at Coalgate, Oklahoma. He passed away on August 16, 2024, at Coalgate at the age of 66 years, 7 months and 8 days. Rickey graduated from Atoka High School with the Class of '78. He worked at Ethan Allen for 29 years. After Ethan Allen, he worked for Sundowner Trailers, Walmart and the manor in Coalgate. Rickey married Judy Ann O'Flannagan on September 25, 1987, at Atoka. They enjoyed 36 years together before his passing. He enjoyed fishing and watching wrestling and westerns. Rickey loved going to church. His favorite times were spent with his children and grandchildren.

Grandchildren: Emilee Scott, Jocelyn Scott, Rebecca Scott and RJ Scott
