Obituary Ricky Alex Garside, age 54, a lifelong Atoka area resident, was born on Thursday, June 4, 1959, to Billy and Billie Louise (Meneley) Garside, at Atoka, OK. Ricky was reborn on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at Atoka, OK. He graduated Atoka High School in 1977. Ricky attended Vo-Tech in McAlester and obtained his plumbers license. Ricky worked for the City of Atoka for several years and a number of years as a ranch hand for Terry Callicoat and was a truck driver. Ricky married Christe Ennis on January 14, 1989 in Atoka, OK. He later married Linda Gaye Pool on December 22, 2005 in Atoka, OK. Ricky was a Baptist and a member of the Mt. Olive Baptist Church. He was a member of the Coon Hunting Association, Team Ropers Association and he loved fishing, hunting, woodworking, coon hunting and team roping. Ricky is survived by his wife, Linda Gaye Garside of the home in Atoka, OK.; children, Rhanda Jack of Dow, OK., Nicole Willis and husband Mike of Ada, OK. Joseph Garside and wife Sarah of Atoka, OK.; step-daughter, Jessica Powers of Atoka, OK.; mother, Billie Garside of Dow, OK.; grandchildren, Adelaide, Jaxton, Michael, Eric, and Lila; sisters, Donna Mote and husband George of Dow, OK., Diane Maness and husband Dennis of Pauls Valley, OK.; uncle, Bud Meneley and wife Corky of Muskogee, OK.; in-laws, Jim and Geneva Pool of Atoka, OK.; along with numerous nieces, nephews and a whole slew of Garside Family in California and Oregon.
