Rita Marie Cathey, age 79, a longtime Ada, OK resident, was born on Saturday, January 9, 1943, to James and Vera Belle (Thompson) Fuller, at Brownsvillle, TX. Rita passed away on Monday, August 8, 2022 at Ada, OK. After high school she went to Redlands College in El Reno, OK where she received her Bachelor's Degree. Rita was a registered nurse, realtor, and a hairdresser. She was married to Vern Cathey until his passing on September 1, 2013. Rita was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness and loved studying her Bible. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
Rita is survive by her children, Tammie, David, Darryl, Ronny, Barbra, Ricky, Gary, Lynn; siblings, Morgan Fuller, Avery Lyn Fuller; along with 29 grandchildren, 52 great grandchildren, and numerous other loved ones.
Rita was preceded in death by her parents, James and Vera Belle (Thompson) Fuller; children, Wayne, Terri, Debbie; siblings, Molly Guthrie, James Earl; grandchild, Tisha Hoppe.
