Robert B. Adams, age 92, a Coalgate resident, was born on January 27, 1921 to John Swain and Ethel Florence (Burt) Adams, at Reynoldsburg, OH. He graduated high school in Austin, TX. Robert was a newspaper distributor. He married Nettie Dean (Kirtley) on December 29, 1984 in Mt. Pleasant, TX. Robert attended the Kingdom Hall Jehovah's Witness in Atoka. Robert is survived by his wife, Nettie Dean (Kirtley) Adams of the home in Coalgate, OK; children, Bobby Adams and Margaret, Scott Adams and Renee, David Bruce Adams, Jack Adams and Beverlee, Thomas Hammond and Lee Ann, Helen Stevenson and Robert, Michael Adams and Arlene, Becky Dunnahoe and Ronald, Connie Merritt and Edward, Gail Ledford and Jeff, Mike Bias and Laura, Dan Bias, Barbara Baugh and Kevin, Jessie Bias and Lori, Tim Bias and Renee; along with 41 grandchildren and 56 great grandchildren and a great great grandson due very soon; brothers, Don Adams and Loise, Eddie Adams and Robbie; along with numerous other relatives and friends. Robert is preceded in death by his parents, John J. Swain and Ethel Florence (Burt) Adams; brothers, Dick Adams, George Adams, and John Adams.
