Obituary Robert (Bob) Eugene Grothe, age 79, a Lane, OK resident was born on Wednesday, March 8, 1933, to Robert and Maude Mae (Hawk) Grothe, in Stevens County, KS. Robert passed away on Friday, October 26, 2012 at Lane, OK..Robert was a heavy construction operator, commercial owner, cattle rancher, licensed power monkey and the last four years he did import/export international marketing. Robert was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed wood working, traveling & adventures, and old country music. Robert is survived by his children, Lynda Lou Cooper of Phoenix, AZ., Sherry Lynn Rector of Lane, OK., Sheryl Ann Grothe of Phoenix. AZ., George Lee and Sherry Grothe of Caddo, OK., Joan Marie and Marc Luce of Lane, OK, JoAnn Renee and Mike Howard of Lane, OK., J.B. and Robbie Grothe of Lane, OK., Teresa Mae and Travis Myers of Ardmore, OK., Darla Jean and Steve Jennings of Allen, TX. ;19 grandchildren; 17 great-grand children.; brother, Clarence Grothe and wife Linda of Farmerington, NM.; sister, Louise Woodring and husband Earl of Kallispell, MT. Along with extend family nieces, nephew, cousins and friends. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Maude Mae (Hawk) Grothe. Family and friends will get together at the Bill Coben community center Monday 29th at 4-6 p.m. They request no flowers, just smiles.
