Robert Wayne 'Chief' Ishcomer, age 59, an Atoka, OK resident, was born on Sunday, July 19, 1964, to Leroy and Ethel Bell (LaFlore) Ishcomer, at Talihina, OK. Robert passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2023 at Atoka, OK. He attended Rattan Public High School. Robert was a logger, he ran the cutter. He was a member of Blackjack Church of Sobol, OK. Robert enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching movies, logging, and hanging out with friends.
Robert is survived by his siblings, Leroy Ishcomer Jr. of Ada, OK, Linda Sue Ishcomer of Antlers, OK, Neil Ishcomer of Atoka, OK, Johnny Ishcomer of Sobol, OK, Julius Ishcomer of Sobol, OK, Lena Priddy of Sobol, OK, Mary Woody and husband Turner of Sobol, OK, Sarah Kuykendall and husband Donald of Sobol, OK; great uncle, Elum Wesley of Konawa, TX; friends, Larry Hayes of California, Raymond Cooper of Atoka, OK, Kenny Daniel and wife Sara of Bentley, OK; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other dearly loved relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy Jackson Ishcomer Sr. and Ethel Bell LaFlore; sister, Rita Ishcomer; special cousin, Elsie Wesley; niece, Marissa Faith Ishcomer
