Robert Gene Mayse, age 75, a Crystal, OK resident, was born on Monday, September 27, 1937, to Roy and Cecil Maye (Gordon) Mayse, in Gene Autry, OK. Robert passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at Durant, OK. He graduated from Gene Autry High School in 1955. Robert was a diesel truck mechanic and a rancher. He married Carolyn Deen (Stephenson) on August 1, 1958 in Ft. Worth, TX. Robert was a Deacon of the Crystal Baptist Church where he was a member for over twenty years. He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids, playing dominoes, and doing woodwork in his shop. Robert is survived by his wife, Carolyn Deen Mayse of the home in Crystal, OK.; children, Monte Mayse and wife Stephanie of Crystal, OK., Robbie Lynn Mayse and wife Kim of Grandview, TX., Daryl Mayse and wife Trisha of Mansfield, TX., Zach Wood and girlfriend Marissa Phillips of Crystal, OK., Crystal Lapp of Crystal, OK., Delila Lapp of Crystal, OK.; grandchildren, Miranda (Mayse) Williams and husband Wes of Ft. Worth, TX., Michael Mayse and wife Marisa of Crystal, OK., Rachael (Mayse) Cummings and husband Brandon of Grandview, TX., Rustin Mayse and wife Ashli of Grandview, TX., J.T. Driver and wife Danielle of Brownwood, TX., Misty Mayse of Grandview, TX., Melody Mayse of Grandview, TX.; great grandchildren, Brayden and Peyton Mayse, of Crystal, OK., Brooklyn and Hadlee Cummings of Grandview, TX., and 2 more of the way; bother-in-law, James Allen and wife Sharon of Bennington, OK.; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many dear friends.
