Obituary Robert Eugene "Gene" Vietta, age 79, an Atoka, OK resident was born on Friday, October 6, 1933, to Pete and Emma (Vegher) Vietta, in Coalgate, OK. Gene passed away on Friday, November 30, 2012, in Atoka, OK. He graduated Coalgate High School in 1951.Gene was a Beautician. Gene proudly served his country in The Military. He married Dorothy Lucille (Hyatt) on September 29, 1957 in Atoka, OK. Gene was a member of the Atoka Church of Christ. He enjoyed woodwork, drinking coffee, bowling, dominoes, refereeing high school sports, and spending time with his grandchildren. Gene is survived by his sons, Butch Vietta and wife Bridget of Atoka, OK., Ricky Vietta and wife Carla of Forney, TX.; grandchildren, Natallie Stanley and husband Brad of Atoka, OK.; great grandchildren, Austin White of Owasso, OK., Alli Stanley of Claremore, OK., Allivia Stanley of Atoka, OK; step grandchildren, Tiffany Kimberling of Terrell, TX., Michelle Stokes of Forney, TX., Marisa Fugate and Scott of Atoka, OK., Jessca Phillips and husband Patrick of Van Alstyne, TX., John Grant and wife Krista of Colorado Springs, CO., Jamie Grant of Atoka, OK.; step great grandchildren, Toby Kimberling of Forney, TX., Austin Kimberling of Forney, TX., Mason Denton of Atoka, OK., Makayla Phillips of Van Alstyne, TX., Jaydon Phillips of Van Alstyne, TX., Brooklyn Phillips of Van Alstyne, TX.; sister, JoAnn (Vietta) Robinson of Durant, OK., along with several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
