OBITUARY

NAME: Robert Lewis Wardrope, age 71, a Coalgate resident.

BORN: He was born on February 1, 1945, to Robert and ILene (Argo) Wardrope, at Coalgate, OK.

PASSED AWAY: Robert passed away on July 17, 2016 at Coalgate, OK.

AGE:  71 years, 5 months and 16 days.

EDUCATION: Robert graduated from Coalgate High School in 1964. He later attended Okmulgee Tech OSU, receiving an Associate's Degree graduating in 1973.

OCCUPATION: Robert was a Pipe Fitter at the McAlester Army Ammunition Plant retiring in February 2004.

MILITARY:  A veteran, he proudly served his country in the United States Army

MARRIED: Robert married Cora Wardrope on August 15, 2001 at Eureka Springs, AR

CHURCH AFFILIATION, HOBBIES AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS: Robert was a member of the Coalgate VFW and the  Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

WIFE:  Cora Wardrope of the home in Lehigh, OK

SON:  Bobby Wardrope & wife Tawnya of Coalagte, OK

DAUGHTER:  Kelly Williams & husband Greg of Longview, TX

STEP-CHILDREN:  Chris Rainey & wife Stacy of Ada, OK

Jerica Thompson & husband Jason of Coalgate, OK

GRANDCHILDREN:  Kerstyn, Braelynn, Braxton, Jaxon, Braedy, Thomas & Karlee Wardrope

Ethan & Grayson Williams

Brian Courson & wife Erica

Shacole & Kenley Thompson

Molly & Nate Rainey

GREAT GRANDCHILDREN:  Blaydon, Bryleigh, Rocco & Tucker Courson
