Roberta Sims Burleson, 86, of Atoka, Oklahoma, passed away on October 3, 2025, in Ada, Oklahoma. She was born on April 12, 1939, in Bentley, Oklahoma, to her loving parents.

On May 27, 1955, Roberta married the love of her life, Evert Burleson, in Atoka, Oklahoma. They shared nearly 70 years of marriage filled with love, family, and faith.

Roberta devoted her life to her home and family. She enjoyed reading, cooking, sewing, and caring for her loved ones. Some of her happiest moments were spent taking people to the lake, enjoying vacations, and making memories with those closest to her. She especially loved listening to Elvis Presley, collecting newspaper clippings, and cherished all things related to Elvis.

She is survived by her son, Mike Burleson of Moore, Oklahoma; grandsons Scott Burleson of Moore, Oklahoma and Chad Burleson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; great-grandchildren Alexis Ryan Burleson of Shawnee, Oklahoma, and Molly Burleson of Moore, Oklahoma; and great-great-granddaughter Piper King of Shawnee, Oklahoma. Along with numerous nieces, nephews, and many dearly loved friends.

Roberta was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Evert Burleson; her parents; her grandson Jason Ryan Burleson; and sisters Mary (Sewell) and Anna Ruth Sewell.

Roberta will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her warmth, devotion, and love for family.
