Roger Dale Eldridge, age 72, a life time Atoka, OK resident, was born on Sunday, June 12, 1949, to Floyd and Maggie (Barber) Eldridge, at Atoka. Roger passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Oklahoma City, OK. He attended West Allison school and graduated from Tushka High School. Roger was a rancher. Roger proudly served his country in The United States Army during the Vietnam War. He married Peggy Ruth (Leuty) on Friday, October 1st, 1971. They celebrated 50 wonderful years together in October of 2021. Roger was of the Baptist faith. He loved to collect valuables "junk", attend chicken sales, and feed his goats, chickens and cows. You could find him at the sale barn where he loved to spend all his time. Roger got the greatest joy out of spending time with his family and spoiling the great grandchildren. Roger is survived by his wife, Peggy Ruth Eldridge of the home in Bentley, OK; children, Dale Eldridge of Bentley, OK, Christi Wieldt and husband Lowell of Bentley, OK, Tina Jackson and husband Brad of Caney, OK, Dennis Eldridge of Bentley, OK, Dana Chapman of Durant OK; grandchildren, Waci Eldridge, Kacy Eldridge, Jacy Yandell and husband Jason, Shelby Eldridge, Shawn Wieldt and wife Roni, Jarrett Wieldt and wife Kallie, Heather Wieldt, Jacob Jackson and wife Sara, Tyler Jackson and Karlie Sanmann, Andrew Jackson and wife Nickole, Hunter Jackson, Sharawn Givens and husband Dusty, Dusty Hall, Macy Hall, Zachary Mendoza; great grandchildren, Kloee Yandell, Zoee Yandell, Phebee Yandell, Whitlee Yandell, Creed Wieldt, Mitchell Wieldt, Lily Wieldt, Hank Jackson, Willow Jackson, Whitley Givens, Kinsler Givens, Treagin Hall, Trayson Hall, Alannah Hall, Emeri Hall, Malee Hall, Bo Hall, Braxton Mendoza, Kenzlee Eldridge, Prezlee Eldridge, Ralee Eldridge, Hadley Eldridge; siblings, Hazel Setzer of Tushka, OK, Anna Mae Dillard of Tushka, OK, "Buddy" Earl Eldridge and wife Margie of Tushka, OK, Willie Eldridge and wife Sue of Tushka, OK; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Maggie (Barber) Eldridge; grandson, John Jarrett Eldridge; brothers, Ernest Eldridge, Floyd "Blue" Eldridge, Albert Eldridge, Loyd Eldridge, Alfred Eldridge; sisters, Mamie Wren, Helen Williams, Betty Ruth Eldridge
