Ronald "Ron" Dean Harper II, age 56, a lifelong Atoka, OK resident, was born on Sunday, July 31, 1961, to Ronald Dean and Carolyn Ruth (Allen) Harper, at Atoka, OK. Ron passed away on Friday, March 9, 2018 at his home in Atoka, OK.
He graduated Atoka High School in 1979, received a Master's Degree in education from ECU in Ada, OK.
Ron was a teacher and a coach and enjoyed all his interacting with the children in his life. He was married to Danelle Dewitt Harper of Atoka, OK.  His favorite time was spent with his son, Jesse and grandson, Weston.  He also enjoyed family gatherings with his special niece Rebekah Brewster and husband Marty and children Brantley and Casen Brewster.  And also his special nephew Sam Bellows and wife Kelsey and their children Kayden and Seeley Bellows, all of Atoka, OK.
Ron is survived by his parents, Ronnie and Carolyn Ruth (Allen) Harper of Atoka, OK; sister, Trish Bellows and husband Kevin of Atoka, OK; children, Katrina Lewis and husband Ben of Byng, OK, Sabrina Gaines and husband Keith of Byng, OK, Dustin Wallis of Edmond, OK, Jesse Harper and significant other Brooke Smith of Atoka, OK
blessed with numerous grandchildren, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He had so many memories of his great times with his friends at AHS.
