Ronald "Skeeter" Keith Hill, age 84, a longtime Atoka, OK resident, was born on Friday, November 3, 1933, to Clifford and Jessie Marie (Collins) Hill, at Coleman, OK.
Skeeter passed away on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at Atoka, OK. He attended Boggy Depot School and graduated from Tushka High School in 1952. Skeeter worked as a plumber and mechanical contractor. Skeeter proudly served his country in The Army as an x-ray tech in Germany for two years. He married Elsie "Mae" (Elliott) on Saturday, January 16th, 1960 at Hugo, OK. They had 50 wonderful years together before her passing in December 2010. Skeeter enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping with the guys. He was a trophy houndsman and avid coonhunter.
Skeeter is survived by his children, Charles Snow and wife Madlin of Atoka, OK, Kaye Hauff and husband John of Atoka, OK, Ronnie Hill and special friend Jana of Boggy Depot, OK, Eddie Hill and wife Lisa of Boggy Depot, OK, Rhonda Courtney and husband Dennis of Atoka, OK; grandchildren, Miranda Wesley and husband Tim of Kemp, OK, Dusty Snow of Atoka, OK, Michael Wood and wife Claudia of Alaska, Lisa Wood of Denver, CO, Jared Hauff and wife Shauna of Haileyville, OK, Perry Spradlin of Yukon, OK, Robert Spradlin and wife Della of Atoka, OK, Dwayne Hill and wife Kayla of Atoka, OK, Scott Brinkley of Atoka, OK, Connor Brinkley of Atoka, OK, Mason Brinkley of Atoka, OK, Cliffton Hill and wife Amy of Wylie, TX, Courtney Rhudy and husband Justin of Ector, TX, Mikah Hill and Kaleb Sipes of Atoka, OK, Ellie Mae Hill of Atoka, OK, Kace Hallows and husband Tanner of Centerpoint, OK, Dennis Teague of Holdenville, OK, Kendall Teague of Hodgens, OK, Stacia Harrison and Dustin White of Atoka, OK; 27 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Skeeter is preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Jessie Hill; wife, Mae Hill; brothers, Donald Hill and Dwight Hill; grandson, Jason Hauff; great granddaughters, Tanner and Constance Wesley.
