Obituary Ronald Lee Reed, age 67, an Atoka area resident since 1993, he was raised in Wellington, KS, was born on Sunday, July 1, 1945, to Buford and Lena Louise (Nettle) Reed, at Tryon, OK. Ronald passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at Denison, TX. He graduated from school in Wellington, KS. in 1963, then attended Cowley County Junior College while playing basketball. Ronald worked for Freedom Rock Ranch; he was a building contractor and built residential, apartments, and churches. Ronald assisted with renovations at Wards Chapel, McGee Valley, and Mt. Olive Churches. He married Cathy Lee (Groom) on December 31, 1988 in Tallahassee, FL. Ronald was a member of the Wards Chapel Baptist Church; he loved fishing, hunting and riding horses. Ronald is survived by his wife, Cathy Reed of the home; children, Lee Anya Williams and husband Michael of Licking, MO., Ronald Jeffery Reed of Perris, CA., Dorothy "Dee" Boerger and husband Donald of Cairo, GA., Nicole Johnson of Holiday, FL., Benjamin Lewis and wife Sandi of Tallahassee, FL., Jennifer Fountain and husband John of Tallahassee, FL., Todd Duane Reed and wife Lea of Holiday, FL., Icy Conn and husband Codi of Caddo, OK., Miles Reed and Danni Praytor of Kiowa, OK.; 13 grandchildren; sisters, Naomi Fincher of Seguin, TX., Delores "Dee" Hamburg and husband Mel of Wellington, KS.; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
