July 27, 1951 – January 11, 2021
Ronnie Williamson, age 69, a longtime Atoka, OK resident, was born in Atoka County, Lived in Edmond from 1977 til 1998, was born on Friday, July 27, 1951, to Charles and Thelma (Wilson) Williamson, at Daisy, OK. Ronnie passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021 at Oklahoma City, OK. He attended Lane, and Atoka Public Schools and graduated from Geary High School, he had perfect attendance all of his school. He got his Associate of Science in Fire Protection in May of 1981 from OSU and received his Bachelor of Science from Central State University in July of 1987. Ronnie worked at Rapid City Fire Dept from 1975-77, Edmond Fire Dept from 1977 to 1998 where he retired after 21 years. He sold cars for many years for Chevy Crossroads and then several years for Stuteville Ford in Atoka. Ronnie proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He married Gaylene Holcomb in Atoka and later married Candice Lemke on November 1, 1974 in Bowdle, SD. Ronnie was raised in the Church of Christ. He belonged to Kiwanis Club in Edmond for several years, International Arson Investigators Association and International Fire Service Training Association, Atoka Trail Riders, loved his golf and playing in his band, Ronnie & The Flashbacks.
Ronnie is survived by his children, Shelly Daniel and husband Mike of Atoka, OK, Jennifer White and husband Jonathan of Edmond, OK, Anthony "Tony" Williamson and wife Kayla of Mandan, ND; 14 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sister, Sharon Shelton and husband Ken of Brandon, MS; brothers, Deryl Williamson and wife Carolyn of Geary, OK, Gary Williamson of Oklahoma City, OK; companion, Susan Moon of Atoka, OK; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Thelma (Wilson) Williamson; sisters, Phyllis Lawson, Linda Hill; brother, Tony Williamson.
