Rosalee (Fulsom) Bates, age 76, an Atoka, OK resident was born on Saturday, October 23, 1943, to Thomas and Minerva (King) Fulsom, at Mescalero, NM. Rosalee passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at Oklahoma City, OK. She attended school in New Mexico. Rosalee was a housewife.
She married James E. Bates Jr. on Thursday, August 11th, 2011 in Atoka. Rosalee attended Emmanuel Baptist Church in Wapauncuka. She enjoyed crafting, beading, fishing, cooking, and spending time with her grandbabies.

Bates Jr.; daughters, Rosemary Bohanon of Tushka, OK, Jackie Bohanon of Tushka, OK, Brenda Bohanon Barrett of Tushka, OK, Lucy Bohanon of Tushka, OK; son, Mark Evans of New Mexico; brother, Wayne Fulsom of Atoka, OK; grandsons, Cody Leeper of Lawton, OK, Johnathon Bohanon of North Carolina, Tony Leeper of Atoka, OK, Dusty Sutterfield of Atoka, OK, Barney Sutterfield Jr. of Atoka, OK, Lance Leeper of Mead, OK; grandduaghter, Faith Shields of Atoka, OK; great grandchildren, Brylee Sutterfield of Atoka, OK, Brystyn Sutterfield of Atoka, OK, Aubrey Sutterfield of Atoka, OK, Barney Sutterfield III of Atoka ,OK, Randy Sutterfield JR. of Atoka, OK; sister-in-law, Margie Fulsom of Atoka, OK; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
