Rosemary Virginia Harrison, age 71, was a lifelong Atoka resident, a Sulphur, OK resident for the last 5 years. She was born on Monday, December 22, 1952, to Raymond Clem and Ruth Ellamae (Greenwood) Brooks, at Atoka, OK. Rosemary passed away on Monday, September 30, 2024 at Sherman, TX. She attended Dunbar Grade School and Atoka High School. Rosemary attended Job Corp School in Albuquerque, NM. Rosemary was a nurse's aid, worked for the City of Atoka in Public Works and also worked at Pizza Hut. She was a member of Old Path Baptist Church in Atoka. Rosemary enjoyed cooking, fishing, and loved playing with her grandchildren.
Rosemary is survived by her children, Charlotte Harrison of Sulphur, OK, Cherry Denise Hopkins of Chickasha, OK, Carla Brooks of Atoka, OK, Nathaniel Junior Hopkins of Thibodaux, LA, Raymond Hopkins of Atoka, OK, Rebecca Hopkins of Durant, OK; 26 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; siblings, Raymond Brooks of Atoka, OK, Patsy Brooks of Atoka, OK, Carl Brooks of Atoka, OK, Dina Lois Brooks of Atoka, OK, Tim Brooks and wife Yolonda of Atoka, OK; son in law, Louie Nichols of Atoka, OK; husband, Ulysses Harrison of Atoka, OK; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Clem and Ruth Ellamae (Greenwood) Brooks; brothers, Ray Brooks, Joe Bill Greenwood; daughter, Ruth Marie Hopkins; daughter in law, Shay Hopkins; special nephew, Cecil Orlan Hill Jr.
