Roxanna "Roxie" Corina (Hendricks) Jones, age 78, a longtime Atoka, OK resident, was born on Saturday, February 4, 1939, in Beatrice, NE and raised by foster parents Frank and Marjorie Carpenter, at Santa Ana and Ventura, CA. Roxie passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at her residence in Atoka, OK. She attended school in Santa Anna, CA. Roxie was a home health provider and home maker. She married Carl Dexter Jones on Friday, December 6th, 1957 at Ventura, CA. They had 56 years together before his passing on October 16, 2013. Roxie was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, genealogy research, needle craft work and being with her fur babies.
Roxie is survived by her children, David Jones and wife Shannon of Atoka, OK, Marjorie Parker and husband Matthew of Coalgate, OK, Dianna Wills and husband Bill Sr. of Enid, OK; grandchildren, Kerri Manning and husband Richard of Beeville, TX, Ryan Jones and wife Katie of Atoka, OK, Joshua Jones of Atoka, OK, Carmen Garrett and husband John of Lone Grove, OK, Leslie Parker and Colt Franklin of Durant, OK, Billy Don Wills Jr. and wife Amanda of Enid, OK, Kendra Wills of Mustang, OK; great grandchildren,  Aden, Ethan and Isaac Carl Manning, Colton and Kyra Jones, Parker Beck, Thomas Ryder and Olivia Garrett,  Adelyn Joyce Wills; brother, Jimmy Carpenter of California; sister, Janette Montgomery of California; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Roxie is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Marjorie Carpenter; husband, Carl Jones; grandson, Michael Jones; siblings, 7 brothers, 3 sisters.
