John Henry

Roy Monroe "John Henry" Frailicks, age 61, left this world on Sunday, March 29, 2026. John was born March 15, 1965, at his home in Sherman, Texas.

John shared a beautiful and wonderfully chaotic life with his wife, Pam (Taylor) Frailicks-the greatest love of his life. Together, they built a life filled with family, friendship, and laughter that carried them through each day.

John was a devoted husband, father, pawpaw, sibling, uncle, and friend. He loved his children, Lacey and Ryan, his bonus children, Ashley, Justin, Rowdy, and Bacon, deeply and proudly. But nothing compared to the immense love and pride he had for his grandchildren: Teagan, Guhner, Ellie. Riggin, River, Rozin. Kris, Sadie, Kolt. Maggie, Molly.

He was the favorite uncle John-"Kuncle"-to many nieces and nephews, along with countless others whose lives he touched.

He is survived by his loving wife, Pam Frailicks; his daughter, Lacey Hall, and her husband, Justin; bonus children Ashley Johnson, Rowdy Yates, Ryan Bacon, and Riley Light; and his cherished grandchildren: Teagan Tucker, Guhner and Ellie Hall, Riggin, River, and Rozin Frailicks, Kris and Kolt Pierce, Sadie Massengale, Maggie and Molly Blankenship.

He is also survived by his siblings, James Frailicks and Tommy Yates; nieces Donna Miller, Sally Kerr, MaryKaye Robinson, Shonna Pierce, and Tammy Blankenship; and nephews Seth Frailicks, Cody Taylor, and Canyon "Fish" Taylor.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Roland Frailicks; sisters Roseland Coker and Debbie Kuykendall; brother Roland "Butch" Frailicks; and his son, Ryan Matthew Frailicks.

John enjoyed spending time with his family above all else. He loved fishing, hunting, gardening, camping, and gathering everyone together for fish fries and crawfish boils. He had a special love for deer meat and yeast rolls. You could often find him sighting in his guns or reloading ammo alongside his best friend and brother, Tommy.

He had a knack for fixing just about anything you put in front of him-except for his phone, which he left strictly to his daughter. His mornings were simple and steady: a hot cup of coffee, a good western playing on the TV, and his loyal fur babies-Pixie, Max, and Lady-by his side, always ready to keep watch for squirrels. His camo Crocs and Copenhagen (original) were just part of who he was.

John Henry will be remembered for his strength, his tough love, his unforgettable storytelling, and, above all else, for always showing up-no matter who needed him.

He leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and memories that will live on in all who knew him.
