Roy Edward Gammon, age 56, a Atoka, OK resident, was born on Wednesday, June 23, 1965, to Roy and Minnie Louise (Combest) Gammon, at Purcell, OK. Roy passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2022 at Atoka, OK. He graduated from Tushka High School and went on to attend Southeastern college. Roy was a IT Specialist at the Lane Agriculture Research Center. Roy was of the Baptist faith, he was baptized June 12, 1983. Roy was an artist and especially enjoyed painting landscape portraits. He enjoyed woodworking, collecting World War II memorabilia, and building Legos.
Roy is survived by his mother, Minnie Louise Gammon of Tushka, OK; daughters, Ashly Schomer of Durant, OK, Brittany Gammon of Durant, OK; sister, Sharon Caldwell and husband Velton of Tushka, OK; grandson, Saxon Schomer of Durant, OK; along with other relatives and dear friends.
Roy was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Easter Gammon, Lewis Gammon; maternal grandmother, Nina Combest.
