Obituary Ruby Jewell (Miller) Kerr, age 88, a Caney, OK resident, was born on Friday, November 9, 1923, to Burt and Florence (Fullton) Miller, at Clayton, OK. Ruby passed away on Friday, August 3, 2012 at Durant, OK. She attended school in Clayton and Talihina, OK. Ruby was a housewife and homemaker. She worked many years in grocery stores and for Diaper Jeans Mfg. in Atoka, OK. She married Marvin Lee "Bud" Kerr on October 10, 1941 at Le Feria, TX. Ruby was a lifelong Baptist. She loved animals, sewing, and quilting, but most of all making all her kids and grandkids quilts. Ruby is survived by her children, Raymond Lee Kerr Sr. of Stringtown, OK., Cathy Musgrave and husband Aaron of Caney, OK.; siblings, Elizabeth Harkins of Tupelo, OK., Nellie Hunter of Tupelo, OK., Henry Miller and wife Minnie of Tupelo, OK.; grandchildren, Mathew Kerr and wife Laura of Caney, OK., Burt Kerr and wife Tammy of George West, TX., Raymond Lee Kerr Jr. and wife Lisa of Caney, OK., Marvin Lee Kerr and wife Sylvia of Corpus Christi, TX., Kevin Kerr and wife Kathy of George West, TX., Shelia "Punky " Kerr of George West, TX., Crystal Nichols and husband James of Atoka, OK., Luke Kerr of Stringtown, OK., J.T. Wallace and wife Carrie of Durant, OK., Cody Woolf of Caney, OK.; great grandchildren, Tyler and Matt Kerr, Stephanie Quanginilla, Sabrina, Jessica, Robert, Shelton and Orrin Kerr, Brooke and Wyatt Schroeder, Caleb and Zack Kerr, Jamie Nichols, Samantha, Heather, and Alesha Kerr, Walt Cook, Ryan Robinson, Rylee Wallace, Alanna, Kaitlyn, and Luke Jr. Kerr; great great grandchildren, Amelie Quanginilla, Khylie, and Jaxson Kerr; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
