Ruby Hope (Long) Lewis, age 95, a Davis, OK resident, was born on Saturday, July 29, 1922, to Ben R. and Maud (Langston) Long, at Atoka County, OK. Ruby passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at Ardmore, OK.
She attended and graduated Limestone Gap School and graduated as the salutatorian. Ruby was a cashier at Kmart, a waitress and a business owner.  She enjoyed flowers, gardening and was a rock hound.
Ruby is survived by her daughter, Judith Leatherbury of Davis, OK; son, Tim Lewis and wife Karen of Ardmore, OK; son in law, William Leatherbury of Davis, OK; special friend, Ann Duncan of Ardmore, OK; grandchildren, Brenda Reed of Ravia, OK,  James Brett Byers and wife Renee of Davis, OK,  Billy Leatherbury of Davis, OK, Chari Wheeler and husband Danny of Ardmore, OK, David Childress and wife Jess of Washington, OK; 10 great grandchildren; 10 great great grandchildren; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Ruby is preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Maud (Langston) Long; husband, Denver Lewis; son, Don Lewis; 3 brother; 4 sisters; granddaughter, Lisa Byers; grandson, Kenny Byers.
