Rufus Loyd "Sonny" Goff

Rufus Loyd "Sonny" Goff Jr. an Atoka, OK resident was born on Saturday, April 10, 1943, to Rufus and Irene (Allen) Goff, in Crystal, OK. He passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2026 at Atoka, OK at 83 years, 4 months and 13 days old.

Sonny attended Crystal School and later achieved his GED before becoming a truck driver.

Sonny fell in love with and then married Linda Sue (Deaton) on Friday, September 28th, 1962 at Ironstaob, OK.

Sonny was an avid outdoors men who had a love of hunting turkeys, fishing, and some camping. He greatly enjoyed time with Linda and his children. He loved his parents and siblings

Sonny is survived by his wife Linda Sue Goff of the home in Atoka, OK; daughter Robin and husband Levi Rowley of Coweta, OK; daughter in law Rebecca Goff of Harmony, OK; granddaughters Courtney and husband Jacolby Davis of Atoka, OK, and Chloe Rowley and Jaceton of Coweta, OK; grandson Ty and wife Keely Goff of Pocola, OK, Chazz and Erin Rowley of Atoka, OK, and Caleb Rowley of Coweta, Ok; great grand children Brayden, Braxton, Sierra, Myah, Finley, Kyler, Falynn, Chandler, Halo and Joseph; sisters Betty Reeves of Stringtown, OK, Wanda Uber of Atoka, OK, Sue Miller and Ed of Grand Lake/Ketchum, OK, and Mae Stephens & Jerry of Atoka, OK; brothers Ray Goff of Atoka, OK, Mike Goff of Farris, OK, Ronnie Goff & Melinda of Lane, OK, Dean Goff of Crystal, OK; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and many loved and dear friends.

Sonny is preceded in death by his parents Rufus and Irene (Allen) Goff; son Randy Goff, brother Jeff Goff; sisters Joyce Lassiter, and Wynema Orr; nephews Ricky Stephens, and Daniel Goff; and Niece Susan Murphey
