Russell Eugene Dewbery, age 73, a longtime Wapanucka, OK resident. He was born on Monday, November 12, 1951, to Auther Eugene and Helen Pauline (Hackworth) Dewbery, at Bromide, OK. Russell passed away on Monday, July 14, 2025 at his home in Wapanucka, OK surrounded by his loved ones. He graduated from Olney High School and went on to attend college. Russell was a pipe foreman for the construction companies. He married the love of his life, Mary Ann (Kempson) on Friday, August 13th, 1971 at Bald Knob, AR. They celebrated almost 54 years of marriage together before his passing. Russell was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed fishing, watching football, was an OU fan, loved to travel with his wife, a loved husband and loved being with his family.
Russell is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Dewbery of the home in Wapanucka, OK; daughters, Traci Lynn Dewbery fo Wapanucka, OK, Wendi Ann Martin and husband James of Bromide, OK, Brandi Kay Dewbery of Wapanucka, OK, Tami Jo Parker and husband Kris of Coleman, OK; grandchildren, Devin Lee Hilburn of Wapanucka, OK, Lori Ann Martin and husband Bobby of Bromide, OK, Jacob Dean Betts of Atoka, OK, William Nathan Wall and wife Makayla of Ada, OK, Garrett Eugene Parker of Ada, OK, Shelbi Dawn Young of Tishomingo, OK, Matrix Dillan Dewbery-Jaynes of Durant, OK, Abbi Kay Parker of Coleman, OK, Matti Dewbery Costaloe of Wapanucka, oK, Lenzi Renea Wood of Madill, OK, Jaxon Cristion Martin of Bromide, OK; great grandchildren, Linin Dean Martin, Noveli Kay Martin, Waylon Joe Martin, Kyler Eugene Parker, Wyatt Lindsey Edwards, Palmer Lane Edwards, William Wilker Banks Wall; sister, Kathy Kay Lowe and husband James of Atoka, OK; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Russell was preceded in death by his parents, Auther Eugene and Helen Pauline (Hackworth) Dewbery; sister, Connie Edmond; grandparents; grandson, Harley Dean Parker; niece and nephew, Makala Lee Edmond and Kevin Edmond; multiple aunts and uncles
