Rusty Wayne Willis, age 40, a Nitro, WV resident, formerly from Lane, OK, was born on Friday, November 24, 1978, to Hayden Wayne and Debbie (Hearrell) Willis, at Antlers, OK. Rusty passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Atoka, OK. He attended Caney and Lane Elementary and graduated from Atoka High School on 1997. Rusty was a Journeyman Lineman with IBEW Local 1002 and was currently Senior Construction Manager for T & D Power. Rusty proudly served his country in The Oklahoma Army National Guard. He married Carla (Roberson) on Monday, April 8th, 2019 at Hot Springs, AR. Rusty was a member of Lane Baptist Church, He enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting guns, and spending time with his children and family.
Rusty is survived by his wife, Carla Willis of the home in Nitro, WV; daughter, Bailey Rae Willis "Punk" of Jonesboro, AR; son, Brayden Ross Willis "Dude" of Jonesboro, AR; parents, Debbie and Troy Brasfield of Lane, OK, Hayden Wayne "Bo" Willis of Caney, OK; father and mother in law, Leon and Evelyn Roberson of Atoka, OK; maternal grandparents, Sam and Linda Hearrell of Lane, OK; paternal grandmother, Janie Brasfield of McAlester, OK; brothers, Ricky Willis of Lane, OK, RD Willis and wife Ashley of Lane, OK, Newt Brasfield and wife Brooke of Lane, OK; nephews, Dax Willis, Tucker Willis, Briar Brasfield all of Lane, OK; nieces, Gracie Willis, Kindle Willis, Harlee Willis, Blair Brasfield all of Lane, OK; step sons, Ty Shipley and Wes Shipley of Mustang, OK; along with other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Rusty is preceded in death by his paternal grandpas, Hayden Willis, Troy Brasfield Sr.; maternal great grandparents, Jack and Ellen Long; niece, Lexi Lee Willis; uncle, Benny Willis.
